Hamburger Patties(Home made)

  • 500 grams lamb mince
  • 500 grams veal mince can use beef too
  • 1 french onion soup mix packet
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 med onion chopped
  • salt & pepper to taste
  • 1/4 - 1/2 cup flour roll in flour and shake of excess
  • 2 tbsp oil for cooking


  • Combine all ingredients together and mix thoroughly. Roll out medium sized patties dust the patties in the flour and shake off excess flour. Make 10-12 patties. Cook in a hot pan with oil and cook for 3-4 minutes turn over cook other side until pattie is cooked. You can eat the patties in a burger bun with lettuce, sliced tomato, beet root, cheese and tom or bbq sauce. Or you could eat patties with vegetables or a salad.
