White chocolate & cranberry oaties

Ingredients
  

  • 200 g butter softened
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup condensed milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • 1.5 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1.25 cups dried cranberries or raisins
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • Pre-heat oven 170 C. Line 2 oven trays with non stick baking paper,
  • Cream butter and sugar in a medium bowl, then beat in the brown sugar and condensed milk. Add the egg and vanilla essence and beat until the mixture is light and fluffy.
  • Sift the flour and baking powder together and stir into the creamed mix. Stir in the rolled oats, cranberries or raisins and the choc chips. Place heaped teaspoons on the mix onto a greased oven tray, then press down with the back of a fork. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a golden brown. Cool on a rack. Makes about 30 biscuits.
