Ginger Kisses
Ingredients
- 50 grams butter
- 1 tbsp golden syrup
- 1 1/4 cup plain flour
- 1 tsp cinnamon 1/2
- 1/2 cup cinnamon
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 2 tsp ground ginger
Ginger butter cream
- 25 grams butter
- 3 tbsp boiling water do 1 tbsp at a time
- 1/2 cup icing sugar
Instructions
- Pre heat oven to 200o c Combine butter, golden syrup and sugar in a medium saucepan. Stir over a low heat till butter is melted and you have a smooth mix. Beat eggs until thick and mix in alternately with sifted dry ingredients. Place small spoonful on to lined trays. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes. When cool sandwich together with butter cream. Makes 10.
