Anzac Biscuits
These are a favourite in my household. A very easy recipe for you and your family to enjoy for years to come.
Ingredients
- 1 cup plain flour
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup coconut
- 125 grams butter melted
- 1 tbsp water
- 2 tbsp golden syrup
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
Instructions
- Pre-heated oven 175C. Two baking trays lined with baking paper. Sift flour into a bowl. Add sugar, rolled oats and coconut. Melt butter in a saucepan and add golden syrup and water. Add baking soda to wet mix and mix thoroughly. Place walnut sized balls of mixture on a trays and bake for 15-20 mins. These will harden when cool.
