My version of chilli con carne. It tastes great, but even better the next day.
Ingredients
500 grams beef mince
1-2 chorizo sausage, sliced into pieces
1 onion, finely chopped
1 400 gram tin tomatoes
1 420 gram tin Heinz medium chilli beanz
1 cup water
2 Tbsp tomato paste
1/4 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp ground coriander
1/2 tsp chilli flakes
1/2 red capscium, finely chopped
- Saffron rice
large pinch of saffron
3 cups boiling water
1 onion, finely chopped
1 cup white rice

Directions
- Heat a little oil in a large deep frying pan or heatproof dish over medium high. Add the mince and chorizo sausage and cook in for 2-3 minutes or until browned. Add tomato paste, cook for 1 minute.
- Add the onion, cumin, coriander, chilli and paprika to the mince and chorizo and cook, stirring, for 2 minutes. Add the stock and tomato. Reduce the heat to low, cover and cook for 40 minutes, stirring regularly. Add beans and stir to combine. Bake for a further 10 mins or until the beans are heated through.
