prawn & noodles stir fry

Prawn stir fry with noodles and vegetables


A quick and healthy stir fry in less than 30 minutes.

  • 250 grams fresh or frozen large raw prawns with tails on

  • 1/2 onion, chopped

  • 1 bunch asparagus spears

  • 1 carrot, cut into thin matchsticks

  • 1 red chilli, seeds removed, cut thinly

  • 10 snowpeas, sliced into strips

  • 2 tsp light soy sauce

  • 2 tsp oyster sauce

  • 1 tsp sesame oil

  • 2 tsp canola oil, for cooking

  • 1 pkt noodles, soak in hot water

  • 2 spring onion, cut into small pieces

  • 1 packet baby spinach


  • Prepare noodles by soaking them in a bowl with hot water, mix them with a fork to separate and drain.
  • In a wok add 1 teaspoon of oil on high heat. Add asparagus spears and stir fry for 1 minute. Remove from heat and set aside on a plate.
  • Add last teaspoon of oil to wok on high heat. Add the prawns and stir fry for 3 minutes or until prawns are cooked. Add vegetables, sauces, noodles and lastly baby spinach and cook until spinach has wilted. Remove from heat and serve in bowls .
