Peach & Strawberry cake
Ingredients
- 3-4 peach slices can be fresh or tinned
- 1/2 cup fresh strawberries sliced in half
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 125 gram butter softened
- 1 cup raw sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- Icing sugar to dust
Instructions
- Pre-heat oven 180 C. Grease and line a 20 cm round cake tin. Cream the butter sugar until pale and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time until mixture is combined. Mix in sifted dry ingredients. Pour batter into prepared tin, arrange fruit on top. Bake for 45-50 minutes. Dust with icing sugar and served with plain yoghurt or whipped cream.
