My take on Prawn Fried Rice

minutesThere are so many different ways to make fried rice. This is my take on a popular take out. Another family favourite. You can make this dish with vegetables or any type of meat you like.
Ingredients
Any leftover cooked rice
1 cup raw prawns
2 eggs, make an omelette
½ cup frozen peas
½ onion, chopped
2 Tbsp oyster sauce
2 tsp soy sauce
2 Tbsp sunflower oil, for frying
Directions
- A large wok or pan add oil and heat wok. Break eggs into a container, mix egg and then add to the hot oil and make an omelette, once cooked take out and set aside.
- Add some oil and cook onion till soft. Add prawns and cook till they change colour. Add peas and cook. Add soy sauce and oyster sauce and mix. Add cooked rice and mix till heated through. Season to taste and serve.
- This recipe makes for 2 people. It is a simple easy dish to make.
