Easy batter for fish
I love the taste of battered fish. I found this recipe and it has just a few ingredients to make.
I think the end result is just as good as you would get from your local fish and chip shop. The difference is that you can make this in next to no time at home and enjoy with you own chips or what ever you like.

Ingredients
Batter
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 1/2 Tbsp baking powder
- 4 pieces of fish of your choice
- 1 tsp salt
- 4 cups of vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- In a bowl add the flour, water, milk, salt and baking powder. Whisk all together until you have a smooth batter.
- Make sure you use a deep frypan or pot to heat oil in to 180C. You want the oil to be nice and hot. Cook fish for 10 minutes, to get a nice golden brown colour. Just remember cooking times can vary, depending on the thickness of your fish.
- You can either add your own homemade fries or store brought. With this I made homemade spirals chip and coleslaw.
